I recently stumbled across this web log written by a journalist in Iraq. I think you will appreciate his reporting. I know it made me proud of the Military Police Corps, an organization I served with.

I really appreciated this link to an on-the -ground observer. I still wonder ( from the safety of my lovely home) about what would I do if my country was invaded? I think of the French resistance in WW11 who were not called 'terrorists'. Again I try to see the 'other' side.

I always have BIG respect for army officers. But my experience with this one lieutenant who broke my heart make me have goosebumps whenever I see men in uniform. I know it's weird.
