I received these photos in an email this morning. My friend commented that it reminded him of our times in Viet Nam back in the '60s and '70s. They do bring back memories of crowded streets.
It is absolutely amazing how people can adapt to their situations. These photos depict the reality of another culture.

that is amazing... how people adapt that is... what would be super cooler is if all those ducks and chicks were still alive and flapping ... do you think the bike woulda' actually taken off?

Peter, I don't think so. However, they don't have too many accidents.
bird, it is amazing how they manage. Where there is a will there is a way. And to think they subsist on vegetables and rice for the most part.
Margaret, I only wish I could take credit for them. I did manage to get similar photos back in the '60s, but I'm not sure where they are now. Most of them were B&W.
bronxbt, believe it or not in some cases the birds to flap. However, after hanging upside down for a little while they quiet down. Too much blood in the brain. They too may be suffering from a lack of coffee.

yes, birds (at least this bird) need COFFEE in vast quantities.
i avoid hanging upside-down on a motorcyle at all costs!
