photo test pad

Shannon was having some difficulty in posting more than one photo to a posting on blogger. I am not sure what her difficulty was. I was able to take post these photos directly. I thought you might have to post them one posting at a time and then copy and paste the html code into one posting. But this worked for me as it has in the past. I

I had problems accessing sites and comments last week. Shannon I hope this is helpful

I'm not sure what you're implying there mister.... but for what it's worth, i often have a B*tch of a time posting more than 1 drawing or photo on Blogspot. Most of the time, even when i make the images so tiny (file-size-wise) they still don't take! I don't even get an error! It says "files uploaded!" then when I return to the text portion the image is nowhere to be seen.

Seems to be a recent rash of blogspot techie stopidity as of late, but damn it is annoying.

What happend to your other post about the Teaching? did that one "go the way" of shanny and my images?

;)

-b, I have been using Firefox as my browser. It works better on my Mac.

It is amazing what can happen after a good nights sleep where the message comes through that some postings can be retired. It was time. I find in my classes I sometimes have to say something out loud to hear how silly it sounds. I have been able to generalize that to the written word. Thanks for your very clear and cogent comments. You are a guy who will "do to ride the river with."

used to cite Zane Gray for that phrase. Now I find out that it was Louis Lamour who penned it first. Googling the same phrase I found that both "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "Nash Bridges" have used it. It is still a great phrase.

Great photos, jack!

btw, loved both "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "Nash Bridges" ... where have all the 'good guys' gone. *sigh*

There are still a few of us around. In fact, bronxbt is the other one.

How may we be of service, ma'am?

-b, I do apologize for taking it off so soon. I did appreciate your comments. You hit the nail on the head. I had made a lengthy comment in response to yours. I'm sorry you didn't get to read it.

I did think about it in the middle of the night and decided to take it off. There are a couple of the students from that class who might have checked in and seen it. Removing it seemed the most propitious thing to do.

That decision had nothing to do with your wonderful and much appreciated comments. I believe they helped me to see much more clearly what my responsibilities should be. Thank you my friend for caring enough to share some much needed insights.

You are one cool dude and definitely a "guy to ride the river with".

As for bird, a spin around town is certainly an option. I probably won't get closer to your fair city than Phoenix. I am going out there over the weekend of the 25th to celebrate my grandsons' graduation from high school and their joining the military. Their mother is hosting a farewell party for them. I just couldn't pass that up. I'm even missing the wedding of some good friends' son that same weekend. Maryan will hold down the fort here and support the friends.

John Wayne? Go figure. lol

thanks jack - taking it down/off whatever wasn't the issue. that's your choice, right, blah-de-blah. I was seriously doubting that I had really (or ever) seen it, much less responded.

alas, if drugs could only assist me with these ailments.

I AGREE!! :-)

Congrats to your grandsons, though I will worry about them now - joining the military? I hope they will not come to any harm.

are they twins?

Jack K. said...

No they are not twins. There birth dates were such that they were always in the same grade.

I, too, hope that no harm will come to them.

The oldest one wants to be a Marine and the younger one opted for the Navy.

The soon-to-be Marine always had very long hair which he decided to get cut in January.

I can hardly wait to see them.

Jack K. said...

Croak, I will try to envision AAM riding co-pilot with me as a drive to and from Phoenix.

There is a thought that kids who grow up away from water tend to join the Navy. Don't know if that is true for everyone, but it seems to work for him.

I'll have to "warn" him about Navy "gals". Giggle.
