The rains are coming

The best laid plans of mice and men often go wrong. Bobbie Burns(sp) said it in a different language that eludes me for the senior moment.

Today I had fully intended to get a photo of me, my Tilley hat, but the weather has other ideas. We are expecting rain all this weekend. It will include thunder storms. So, I will just have to wait for a more opportune time.

I miss thunder storms (says the girl who would crawl into her parents bed whenever one struck as she was growing up).

I've seen the hat, it's worth the wait!

Love you!

btw, send some of your rain our way... dry and dusty here... no rain for at least the next six days, just sun.

Ardlair, thank you for sending me the entire passage. Things do Gang aft agley when we least expect them. I guess we need the challenge.

Looks like it will be next week before I can take the hat in the car photo because of the rain.

Karen, baited or bated, either way, breathe for goodness sake. lol

Karen, whew. I can breathe easier now. LOL

Adrianne, I wish I could. The rains seem to want to rush from the West coast to our part of the country and miss you entirely.
