An Interesting Question...

... Is there fraud here about the reporting in Lebanon?

Something to ponder.

jack, a moving article to be sure... moves me farther away from reading the newspaper or watching the news. In my fragile world, i swear i'm happier knowing that my ignorance = bliss... or at least a lot of misinformed wandering around...

as a graphic artist, i can vouch for the uncanny ability?/training?/skills? to be able to remove someone's head and flawlessly add it to the body of a dog. That doesn't mean I'm going to do it. besides, it's unflattering and mean to the dog...

The fact that the media in general (that's an all included, purposefully broad statement including all the manipulative bastards highlighted in yer article/video link) allows this type of things to happen to sell more magazines and gain more viewers?

wow. shocking. really.

damn shame tho.

for what it's worth, the images of mickey mouse?, he terrifed me as a kid 'cuz he's basically a 6' tall f**king rat... so, 'nuff said.

They don't need doctored up photos to make Israel look bad. They do a good job all by themselves with the help of our 500 pound bombs!

There is definitely a war of fraud on the Internet and we don't know who is shooting the biggest guns but I have my suspicions...

Perhaps the (AIPAC) American Israel Public Affairs Committee had something to do with this as they do with a lot of our reports in this country.

Jack, I used a D70 fro the shots, thanks for checking those out. While on the subject:

Bush and Rumsfeld are sipping some brew in a bar, a guy walks in and overhears Bush say: "Send some 2000 lbs bombs over to Lebanon and kill them all, then drop one more on that guy riding his bicycle." The guy in the bar goes like, "Mr. President, why would you kill a guy in a bicycle?" Bush chuckles and elbows Rumsfeld saying: "Hehe, I told you no one cares about Lebanon"

wow ...
mr q's joke - wow. (yeah, jetlag makes me so articulate). i weep for lebanon. and i weep for israel. and the UN resolution is useless - how can anyone talk of a lasting peace? all the steps taken by everyone involved guarantee no peace.

my sentiments are mixed - i agree with karen - no doctored photos are needed to make israel look bad. this to me is heartbreaking - here i am, a pro-israeli (what kind of label is that) and yet i deplore their actions this round -or rather - the extent of their actions - it doesn't seem proportionate at all.

doctored photos? maybe so. i have to check aish.com out - what's their story? i am dubious all the way around.

Thank you all for your comments.

Fraud anywhere, from anyone, is still felonious and reprehensible.
